Wie ihr aus unseren letzten Einträgen schon mitbekommen habt: Wir werden den Katamaran mit den Löchern nicht kaufen.
Statt dessen schauen wir uns nach einem Segelboot um (hier gibt es leider keine Katamarane, die wir uns in diesem Leben leisten könnten 🙁 ). Nachdem wir uns hier vor Ort (auf Grenada) das ein oder andere Boot angeschaut haben – und nicht zufrieden waren – haben wir zwei passende im grossen Internet gefunden.

Nr. 1: Island Packet 38 / 1992 / 12,6 m lang / 1,5 m Tiefgang (das ist nicht tief!!)
Hat einen integrierten Tisch/Schrank (für den Schnaps) und kommt inklusive Gitarre! Ok, das Boot ist darüber hinaus Kutter geriggt (also 2 Vorsegel) hat einige Solarzellen und einen Windgenerator dabei. Ausserdem müssen wir wahrscheinlich nicht die ganze Elektronik wegschmeissen. Das Ding hat ausserdem eine Heizung!
Nachteile: Keine Windsteuerung und abgenutzte Segel.
Nr. 2: Lord Nelson 41 / 1982 / 12,5 m lang / 1,7 m Tiefgang (ok, aber nicht sooo flach)
Klassische Yacht mit unzähligen Bronze- und Teak-Details! Unglaublich atemberaubender Salon aus Mahagoni und Teak, relativ neue Segel und Elektronik, ausserdem Windgenerator und Windsteuerung.
Nachteile: Es ist immernoch der original (das heisst ALTE) BMW Motor eingebaut (Wer zur Hölle kommt auf die Idee einen BMW-Motor in ein Boot einzubauen???)

As our german readers already know: No, we are not going to buy that catamaran full of holes.
Instead we are looking for a sailboat (no catamarans here, which we could afford in this life 🙁 ). After taking a look at the one or other boat around here (Grenada) – and not being satified at all, we found two suitable ones on the interwebs.

No 1: Island Packet 38 / 1992 / 12,6 m long / 1,5 m draft (shallow!!)
Comes with cool table/integrated cupboard (for the liqour) and a guitar! Ok, it is also is cutter rigged (two foresails), has some solar cells and a wind generator and we won’t probably need to dump all the electronics. It also has a heating!
Downside: No windvane steering and rather used sails.

No. 2: Lord Nelson 41 / 1982 / 12,5 m long / 1,7 m draft (ok, but not shallow)
Classic yacht with unique style, bronze and teak details everywhere! Drop-dead gorgeous teak and mahogany interior, relatively new sails, ok new electronics and has a wind vane steering and wind generator.
Downside: Original (that means OLD) BMW-motor still on board (who the f**** puts a BMW into a boat???)
